Saeed Ajmals bowling action clearedDUBAI: The International Cricket Council ICC on Saturday cleared the bowling action of Pakistani cricketer Saeed Ajmal.Following remedial work and retests, the bowling action of the off spinner has been found to be legal and he can now resume bowling in international cricket, said an ICC media release.However, Pakistan Cricket Board PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan said that according to the rules, Ajmal cannot be included in the ICC World Cup 2015 squad.Speaking to Geo News Ajmal said he could not control his tears when he heard this good news. It was deemed illegal after an assessment a month later, which found his elbow extension was at 42 degrees, well over the permissible limit of 15 degrees.On January 24, 2015, Ajmal was put through an official ICC bowling action test at the apex cricket bodys accredited laboratory under the supervision of two technical experts from Dubai.
